My name is Isaac Bernard Rigler, and I am a photographer / videographer located in Martinez, California in the east bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. Check out and follow my portrait work and travel photography at:
@ibrphoto_landscape I have always held creative pursuits at the front and center of my life. Music was one of my very first passions, and I have been playing guitar since I was just a tween. From there I went on to become the songwriter for several metal, punk, and alternative bands. Seeking new ways to expand my creativity into visual mediums, as an adult I became just as dedicated to developing my skills in photography and videography. On my father’s side, going back to my grandfather David Rigler, I come from a lineage of devoted camera nerds, so this always felt like a natural move to me. Today, I see my cameras as tools to draw out the beauty of each scene and person to their fullest potential and to capture and preserve unique moments in time and space. Stylistically, whether I am shooting landscapes or living beings, I tend to prefer to rely on natural light and take an editorial or storytelling approach to my work. In my editing I seek to draw out and highlight the very most of the colors, textures, and dynamics already present in each image/video. |
